Growing...

I swear this little lady has grown SO much this weekend. It's crazy how she's now sticking out so far. These aren't the most flattering pictures (especially b/c you can see the ties from my pants through the shirt!) but are they ever flattering? Had I known that Peter was going to take a picture with my face in it I would not have washed my make up off. YIKES!

Ain't she a beauty?
I personally like the deoderant on the black shirt - but belly pictures are few and far between in this house...

We went to New Orleans this past weekend.
We visited with Peter's brother Jonathan and his wife Sarah and went to Peter's friend Phip's wedding. It was quite the interesting time...

I love fall weather!

Although my foot is broken/fractured/whatever-it-is we just HAVE to get outside and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. You can see how baby Bailey is growing... and me along with her. Yikes!

JACK!

Just a few photos of Jackson. He's so adorable we just continued to take pictures of him... These are some of our favs:

A week in California

We had the pleasure of spending a week with my brother Mark, Deborah and Jackson in California. We had a busy week going to Mosaic, the San Diego stinky seal beach, the San Diego Zoo, the "fashon district", Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica beach, Chinese Theatre, Pink's famous hot dog stand, Diddy Ries famous ice cream sandwiches, disc golfing, Mark's basketball game, and watched our nephew Jackson run and run and run and run!!! It was a great time. We even had a chance to eat dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in 8 years! (no pics though)

Aww crap!

Peter and I finally went on a date!! We went to see Jim Gaffigan's live show in Minneapolis. Before the show we met up with my sister Christy and her little family at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner to celebrate our niece Amanda's 5th birthday!

Canadian Thanksgiving

We had a few friends over to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving - the second Monday in October. The turkey turn out quite yummy!

Peter goes to Boston and comes home to his girls

Peter had a great week in Boston at a PM&R conference - networking, presenting and enjoying the history of the old city.

The day after returning to Rochester (today) we found out our little bundle is all girl!!! With a personality already! She was very busy kicking and rolling around, except when the tech wanted her to move. :) We are super excited and might even start calling her a real name soon... (no photos of her as the ultrasound pictures didn't scan in very well.)

Apple Picking!

I love fall! Definitely my favorite time of year. We went apple picking with some cowboys last weekend and the weather could not have been more perfect! Sunny and cool with a slight breeze. And the apples were SOOOO delicious, only 15 minutes from our house!! This place had a corn maze and a little zoo.

Peter picking apples. You were allowed to eat whatever you wanted from the apple trees or grapevines. You only paid $3 to enter and we definitely could not eat a pound each... This little 9 month old, Isaac, loved eating the apples! He just gummed them like candy. So cute.
Funniest picture of the day...

Stinkers Bay

We met up with our BFFs Joel and Shontel and their son Nathan in Wisconsin for a relaxing weekend on the lake. However, Stinkers Bay didn't quite do it for us. The "cabin" that was so wonderfully described to us on http://www.vrbo.com/ (watch out you vacationers!) was just an old double wide with nothing but dampness inside (and I'm being nice). It was quite the memorable weekend and we are thankful our friends are so chill!

We did go to Madison one day and enjoyed the "Taste of Madison" treats downtown, and also enjoyed a fun boat ride around the lake, which included swimming in the dreaded water. Once you were in, you could not see your body or limbs... YIKES! There were pretty sunsets and the fish were jumping like crazy... I guess they were feasting on the misquitos who were feasting on us!!

Our double wide on Stinkers Bay- we found out the name of the bay after renting a boat with a map. Definitely lives up to its name though!!

The lake was up 4 feet because of flooding (ummm, yes there was standing water around our trailer) which made for pretty pictures in the evening.

Our boat - which was a place of comfort and luxury after a weekend in the trailer.

Joel making fire. Good thing we had planned on using the fire to cook dinner as there was no oven!! What?!

The beautiful VanderLugt family that we cherish for making our vacation weekend a fun one!

Baby Annalea Leverentz

My sister had her third little girl in August. Our ALMOST 5 years old niece Amanda is so excited that she gets to hold her new sister!!
Our nieces Amanda and Allie LOVE to play with Uncle Peter. They thought it was soooo hilarious when he had a blanket on his head and talked like a girl!
My sister Christy, mother and I with Christy's beautiful little girls.

Melissa came to visit!

Peter's sister came for a visit this week. We took her to a waterski show on the river. WE didn't even know that this beauty existed 15 minutes from our place!!! What a show.

We had a good fish dinner. We reserved our table at the window so we could watch the show.

My camera couldn' get great pictures through the window, but you can see the beautiful river and the crazy skiers!!

The sun was setting so we decided to head home. It was a good time!

1 little Bailey

We are so excited to announce our little bundle... to arrive in February!! It has been a long wait time but I'm sure the next few months are going to just fly right by.
