Memorial Day

Our friends the VanderLugt's are here visiting for the week. On Memorial day we went to a beautiful beach at a state park (Little Talbot Island) and had a great time in the sun.

Here is our set up for the day. (you can almost see me, Maggie and Shontel)

Shontel, Joel and Nathan (baby VanderLugt was hiding...)

Thumb Sucker?

When I awoke lastnight to a sucking noise this is what I found. Still sleeping, sucking her thumb, Maggie was quite content not to get up and nurse. So I had a long night of sleep :) Hurray!!

The Beach

We explored the beaches here around Jacksonville, Florida. We ended up at "South Beach" because it had wheelchair access for the stroller! The "sand" was crushed shells so we understood why it was so private. The sunshine was the same so we enjoyed our time.

The set up.

Slept the entire time! (Didn't get to wear her matching hat or cute sun glasses.)

Sitting Up

Maggie is always trying to sit up. She loves it when she is positioned sitting up - even though she doesn't have a smile on her face in this picture.

Too cute

Maggie and I hung out and played on Tuesday while the carpets and furniture were being cleaned in the rest of the condo. This is the 4th outfit of the day... and her daddy thought she was SO adorable in it!

While she was sleeping she apparently new that we were headed to the doctor's yesterday for her 2 month appointment (can you believe she's two months already??!). Her dreams came true and she was able to "hitch" out of her shots as the MD thought we should wait until our return to Rochester.
